I’ve Recorded and Distributed, How do I grow my audience?

Growing your shows audience doesn’t happen overnight, unless you have 100k followers on your social media platforms. For most of us, growing your podcast audience comes with time, but most importantly consistency.

It’s safe to say that Day 1 of your podcast to Day 365, you and your show will have grown a ton which will result in more downloads and more listeners.

Ways to Grow your Podcast Audience:

  1. Consistency- Be consistent with your recording schedule and uploading

  2. Social Media Marketing- Make sure you are posting about your podcast show! Ask your friends and family to reshare your content to get more eyes back to the podcast.

  3. Word of Mouth- You don’t have to turn into a salesman, just start spreading the good word about your new podcast.

  4. Cross Promotion- A lot of podcasters are open to cross promoting. This is when you and another podcast host one another on each others podcasts.

  5. Join Podcast Groups- The internet is full of social media podcast groups that let you connect and work with like minded people. Find, join, connect, and share your podcast to expand your podcast network.

Again, consistency is key when it comes to podcasting. Whether you decide to have weekly, monthly, or seasonal podcast- being consistent with podcasting is the major key to growing an audience.
